Spring Special: Meet Chaska, the Andean Bear!
This April, come experience an unforgettable behind-the-scenes encounter with Chaska, the Salisbury Zoo’s Andean bear! This exclusive spring special gives guests 12 and older the chance to feed Chaska some of her daily treats while learning fascinating facts about this incredible species. Led by our knowledgeable educators and animal care staff, you’ll gain insight into Chaska’s care, behaviors, and the important conservation efforts surrounding Andean bears.

$50 per person (ages 12+; includes feeding experience)

$25 per child (ages 6-11; includes behind-the-scenes access but no feeding)

Guests must be 6 years and older to participate in the behind-the-scenes experience

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
- Encounters are limited to 6 participants each (this is NOT a private encounter unless all 6 spots are booked together)
- All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to the encounter
- This encounter is rain or shine! Participants MUST wear closed toed shoes and should dress for the weather!
