Earth Day

The Salisbury Zoo will hold its annual Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The event is free to the public! The goal of this event is to promote environmental awareness and educate visitors on how they can be good stewards to the earth. The Zoo will host over 20 earth friendly organizations, including: Phillips Wharf Environmental, Marine Animal Rescue Program, UMES 4H & USDA, Lenape Manetu, Chesapeake AAZK Chapter, Lower Shore Herb Society, Coast Kids, Nanticoke Watershed Alliance, Wicomico County Health Dept., Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delmarva Discovery Center, Lower Shore Land Trust, City of Salisbury Water Treatment, City of Salisbury Recycling and more. Along with the exhibitors there will be other Earth Day activities during the event which include: zookeeper talks, recycled craft activities, face painting and animal meet and greets.  Hand made craft items will also be available for purchase.  Craft Vendors can download the vendor form to register to attend.
