Join us for some Christmas fun while Rockin’ Around the Zoo. This is an event for all ages. Come carol to your favorite zoo animals, enjoy a bonfire with s’mores outside on our education stage and some warm hot chocolate. Santa Claus will also be on-site, and children can share their Christmas list with him.
We will read a Christmas story about some of the incredible animals we have here at the zoo and then meet in-person one of the animals from our story during our animal encounter. Finally, we will finish our night walking the zoo and singing some of our favorite Christmas songs to our animals.
Each person will receive one s’mores packet, one cup of hot chocolate and caroling lyrics for our walk. Attendees will also get cookies to bring home.
Dress to be outside! This event will be held outside and it will be dark. Please feel free to bring a flashlight for your family (phone flashlights are not permitted). Before our walk, we will equip each family with a red film to place over their flashlight. This is to protect our animals while we walk. One film will be provided to each family, as the quantity is limited. Only red lights will be permitted on our walk.
