The Salisbury Zoo will host its annual Zoo Stampede 5K Run/Walk, sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, on Saturday, April 22, at 9 a.m., rain or shine. The race begins at the Salisbury Zoo's East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club) and takes runners through the Zoo and along the greenway in the Salisbury City Park.
The first 125 registrants will receive a Brooks tech shirt, and VP Shoes is providing plenty of prizes. Stick around for Earth Day afterward.
