Go behind the scenes to learn what working in a zoo is all about. Assist animal care staff in exhibits and find out what enrichment is and how it is used. Learn about conservation and exhibit design.
This camp takes place inside and outside. Campers must wear closed-toed shoes and wear clothes that can get dirty and are weather-appropriate. Campers should pack a water bottle and a non-perishable lunch each day.
The camp is for kids ages 13-16 and runs each day from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., with a half-hour break at 12:30 p.m.
Camp prices: $220 for Wicomico County residents and Salisbury Zoo members; $250 for nonresidents/nonmembers. There are only 20 spots available and those are first-come, first-serve.
