Service-Learning Days at the Salisbury Zoo

Service-Learning Days at the Salisbury Zoo provide an enriching opportunity for individuals and groups to get involved in hands-on conservation efforts while supporting the zoo’s mission of wildlife education and protection. Participants will assist with essential grounds work such as raking, sweeping, planting, and other landscaping tasks. In addition, they will help with building projects, cleaning, and organizing various zoo areas. These activities play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for both the animals and zoo visitors.
Please note that participants under the age of 14 must have a parent or guardian present the entire time to ensure safety and proper supervision. Service-Learning Days are perfect for those who want to learn more about environmental stewardship and wildlife conservation while making a positive impact on the community. Whether you’re a student, family, or group, you’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment knowing you’ve helped preserve the beauty of the Salisbury Zoo for future generations.
