Support the Salisbury Zoo by participating in the annual Zoo Stampede 5K, sponsored by Vernon Powell Shoes, on Saturday, April 20, at 9 a.m. The race kicks off from the Salisbury Zoo’s East Gate (across from the Elks Golf Club). The race will go through the Zoo and along the Salisbury City Park’s greenway. 100% of proceeds from the event benefit the Salisbury Zoo. Participants receive a tech shirt, refreshments and the chance to win door prizes from VP Shoes. Overall male and female winners will receive a gift certificate for a free pair of shoes from Vernon Powell Shoes. Three age group winners in each category will receive medals. The first-place winner in each age group will also receive a VP Shoes gift card. Click here to register.
